Qi Wei joined WeCreate Studio in 2020, focusing his attention in creating meaningful relationships with different stakeholders to accelerate the company’s growth.

 

After graduating from NUS, Qi Wei joined Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) as an instructor to make an impact in the youths of Singapore through character and leadership development. Thereafter, he moved on to the Programme Development team as a Senior Training Consultant where he liaised with various stakeholders to develop and manage programmes tailored to their needs. He left OBS in 2019 to set-up a bouldering gym - Lighthouse Climbing Gym. The first crowdfunded climbing gym in Singapore. He was involved in charting the direction of the company, crafting policies and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Qi Wei also played a role as Project Manager during the construction phase and was involved in the full project development from concept up to completion.

Having been in the public sector focusing on outdoor adventure education for 7 years and co-founded a climbing gym, Qi Wei has since developed the experience and skillsets in project management, training development, risk management, stakeholder management and people development. He believes in building meaningful relationships with people as collaboration is key to solving many issues. He is also interested in engaging with communities to co-develop and co-design solutions together.

Qi Wei believes in giving back to the society and has led a charity cycling expedition to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, in 2018 and participating in an ultramarathon in Gobi Desert, in 2019 to raise funds for Samaritans of Singapore.

Qi Wei is also a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) with the International WELL Building Institute.
