Qi Wei joined WeCreate Studio in 2020, focusing his attention in creating meaningful relationships with different stakeholders to accelerate the company’s growth.
After graduating from NUS, Qi Wei joined Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) as an instructor to make an impact in the youths of Singapore in terms of character and leadership development. Thereafter, he moved on to the Programme Development team as a Senior Training Consultant where he liaised with various stakeholders to develop and manage programmes tailored to their needs. He left OBS in 2019 to set-up a bouldering gym - Lighthouse Climbing Gym. The first crowdfunded climbing gym in Singapore that provides climbers with a space to get better at climbing, get fitter, and socialise with others. He was involved in charting the direction of the company, crafting policies and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Qi Wei also played a key role as Project Manager during the construction phase. He was involved in the full project development from concept up to completion, managing stakeholders from the authorities, landlord and contractors.

Having been in the public sector focusing on outdoor adventure education for 7 years and co-founded his own climbing gym, Qi Wei has since developed the experience and skillsets in project management, training development, risk management, stakeholder management and people development. He believes in creating meaningful relationships with the people he works with because collaboration is the key to solving many issues.
Qi Wei believes in giving back to the society and has led a charity cycling expedition to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, in 2018. He also went on to raise funds for Samaritans of Singapore by participating in an ultramarathon in Gobi Desert, in 2019.
